FROM THE PERFUMER

Of all of the fragrances in the Day Three line, Del Mar took the longest to formulate.  The scent is very light and ethereal, but it also projects, and lasts quite a while... and that balance took quite a while to figure out.

 

I personally wear Del Mar on a pretty regular basis here in Arizona, where the heat gets up above 110 degrees pretty regularly.  It does great in the high heat without becoming cloying or offensive.

 

Del Mar is perfectly unisex... it can be pulled off by a man or women equally as well.

Our newest creation is inspired by a couple dancing bachata in secret, on the shores of a Dominican beach at the break of dawn.  

Escándalo (extrait de parfum) opens with a refreshing touch, yet beneath its airy veil lies a provocative allure. This fragrance is a tantalizing paradox—easy to wear, but undeniably sensual, hinting at a barely-there eroticism that tempts the boundaries of the scandalous.

 

Top Notes: Bright and Inviting The journey begins with the vibrance of Limón Dulce, complemented by the herbaceous scent of Blue Tansy. A touch of ripe Guava introduces a tart, fruity note that brings a creative, tropical vibe to the opening.

Heart Notes: Floral Harmony The core of Escándalo unfolds with a selection of rich florals. Rose De Mai and Jasmine Sambac combine to form a sensual, luxurious floral accord, while Lily of the Valley lends a crisp, clean freshness to the formula. Finally, Tropic Daisy adds sweetness, with its almost bubblegum-like, fruity character.

Base Notes: Subtle Depth Anchoring the scent, notes of Vetiver and Sandalwood provide a gentle woody base, enriched with a hints of Orcanox and Eaglewood for a smooth, amber-like finish.
